The Church I See...

The church I see is filled with people from all walks of life, welcomed and accepted.

The church I see is an ever growing loving church. A church where numbers don’t count but people do. Where growth isn’t measured in the number of seats filled but the depth of relationship with their God. Where hunger for righteousness supersedes hunger for the material. Where eternal values are cherished over the temporal.

I see a church where the emphasis is the reconnection to the global work of the cross, not the personal goals of ones life. I see a global family spread all over the world; one roof but many rooms out working the great commission. I see an impact of a global movement empowering the five fold to serve the one body for the cause of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I see a church that champions the individual, to see the body function as a whole. A church that refuses the mundane and celebrates triumph, embraces all that God has for the body and does not lose sight of whose they are.

I see a church that pursues a kingdom culture in all walks of life. A church that determines culture within a region rather than settles for what it is shown. Buildings that struggle to contain purpose and promise. A church that occupies territory and increases in all God is doing in regions.

I see a church where everyone finds their place within the family; where purposes are realised, dreams are dreamt and achieved, where individuals are sent to captivate territory and the kingdom is advanced. Where everybody is welcomed.

I see a church where worship is at the centre, where music is written with heart and passion. A sound that is unique as the people involved. A church that sets the tone.

I see a church that are thermostats rather than thermometers.

I see a church that innovates and is creative, unrestrictive by society but emulates the Word of God. A church that is activated globally.

I see a teaching church; that discovers, develops and disperses across the globe. A church that believes that everyone is a leader and seeks to empower themselves.

I see a church with the love of Christ in each individual for pre-believers, seeing the potential in all and believes the promises of God. Who are not threatened by another’s success and only gives credit to the Father.

I see an authentic church that values the attributes of God the Father and believe we are all part of a family; that value integrity and character. Leaders who dare to be themselves knowing they are part of the bigger body of Christ.

I see a church when being lead means to be of the Holy Spirit and submitted to His authority. Where churches are built with supernatural provision and buildings that act like beacons of light to all humanity.

I see a church that loves God, people and life; who are filled with generosity, full of faith and belief. Where their expression of love for God overflows onto and into their communities.

I see a church whose head is Christ Jesus, whose teacher is the Holy Spirit and whose purpose is the great Commission.
